Wow am i overwhelmed. Now i know this is supposta be a blog about technol0gy but i just have to rant and rave for a bit. There is way to much shit going on with moving, school, band, planning shows, planning the move, planning the place to live, etc, etc......

by now im quetioning why did i not decide to stay an extra month just so i didnt have all this pressure on me but actully i think i succed more if i do load my self up. The resioning is that im actuly thinking about this stuff all the time!! Instead of blowing it off im implimenting this "Plan of action"

Resident Evil 5 (ps3) 5 out of 5

I just finished RE5 and let me just say wow. What an inovative game. This is what the next gen concoles are really made for. This game had it all. Action, beautiful graphics, Online Co-op STORY MODE, inovative game play and tact. I really cant say enough about this game. Its inovative story as well as the "pick up and play" (if you havent ever played RE) aspect is easy to get involved in. The game took me roughly a week (with work, school, bla bla) and has great repaly value

The thing i like most is that this is a big step for PS3 owners who love online interaction. This game fully intergrates the online "link up" as well as saving and leaderbords.(like lil big planet). This is a great game for any serious players out there who want to see what the PS3 is really capable.

Gamer bitch fest....FPS....Marketing stuff...

Ok i just have to say that im sick and tired of first person shooters. There are a million of them!! Personally i think FPS need to be ALL ON THE WII!!!! Thats what the wii is really made for lets be honest! Well i guess wii fit is cool.

YES, WOW, You have made some great FPS games....But its time for a change....so here is the point.


If game developers were smart....they would Liston to what the gamers have to say and stop pouring millions into games that are A. SHITTY or B. OVERDONE and out played.

Marketing should tell you alone that games are going to have to change...rapidly. Advertising is on the move breaking into the game scene so now its up to the developers to figure out what we want. Luckily i have an idea:

1. Awareness,
Yes we might know who they are but HOW DO WE GET TO THEM? Yes we all know 1800 and blabla.com but how are you going to keep our attention and keep us involved

2. EMBRACE IT
I feel as if the same people deveolping games when i was little (snes, n64, and so on) are still doing it. The gamers have been limited for so long but now....now we have broadband, high graphic systems, advanced controllers, bluetooth, removable HDD, and the list goes on. USE THE TECHNOLOGY and if you can figue it out LET US because we are the ones who push that round button on the controller to "start'er up".

3. Re think how you look
The next markets are going to be TOUCH, games, in movie, 2d. Start using this technology NOW before you get behind. The full ps3 system is RARELY ever used, xbox 360 not sure, and i know for a fact no one knows how to tap the power of the wii!! Re think your brand and how you want to be "seen". TV is still a big way to reach your target but why not advertise your own games in your own games. Let me make this simple:

in Halo 2 promote Halo 3
in Skate they could have promoted skate 2

Wiki Stuff we did today - THIS IS ALL CRAZY!!

Ok really not sure about this wiki stuff. it seems to me that someone out there in internet land has decided to make all of thiese new ways of interacting (blogs, wiki, fourms, status updates, twitter, ect) and didn't really think about the confusing factor. I would imagine that eveyone is really confused by what is really the difference all of these things are and possable implications.

I think someone out there needs to conbine all of these technicques into a mass way to communicate.

Have any ideas??

Lets talk touch people.....windows 7 paving the way....

I really like technology and when i buy gadgets like phones, games, ect i really research the crap out of it!! So when i decided to guini pig myself and buy a touch screen computer i really took my time. I now have (after a lot of research, reviews, tear downs, ect ) a Touchsmart HP notebook. WOW, words cannot describe the potential of this technology. Touching where you want to go is such a simple response. I think this will change the "playing field" making people like me (Really tech savy) and people who are not very tech savy equal opportunity!

Now im fixing to install windows 7 beta on my touchscreen. I have installed it on a "normal" laptop and since using Vista+tocuh i see how windows 7 is making this technology so easy.

Pros of Touch:
Easy
Very Easy
"mouse" around faster
Drag Drop
Wring what you want to say....Literally
Portable....fold'er up and walk around


Cons of Touch:
You arm gets tired..
Little areas of windows vista thats hard to touch....Example: Touching "File" at the top of windows, Text boxes, small icons
Writing is a pain because you have to teach it by writing sentences. Its like being in grade school all over again!!!

Overall i really enjoy the head truning factor as well as the ease of touching where i want to go especialy for just browsing the net. I payed $900 with out the insurance plan ($100 from best buy). My HP TX2 is LOADED and very fast with dual core prossessors and 4 gigs memory/Ram.

DO YOUR RESEARCH ON PRODUCTS!! In the long run you can find cheap alternatives and get "Top of the line" products.
